Professional Mover

This weekend I moved, again.

While talking with a friend, I started listing all of the times I have moved. Here is the full list. All of these have occurred since I was 18.

1. Move into college dorm (St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA)

2. Move out of college dorm to return to Baltimore. Move in with parents (Parkville, MD)

3. Friend from college has an apartment that I can move into for the summer. At least I’m not living at home. (Towson, MD)

4. Move back in with parents after the summer. (Parkville, MD)

5. Get a sweet townhouse in the Oaks with Mike and Ben. Have an awesome time. Landlord tells us “not to touch his s***” because we were using his white mesh workout gloves. He decides not to rent to us again because he is moving back in, or so he claims. (Parkville, MD)

6. Move back in with parents. This is only temporary. (Parkville, MD)

7. A year and a half later, Zach gets a huge house and needs roommates. Brendan moves in after getting back from Iraq. Have an amazing time, although I have to go to work when people are still awake from the night before. There is also a rotating 4^th roommate – Matt from Wisconsin, Pat who got whacked in the head with a pipe, and Meghan who gets no comment. I’m out for good now. (Towson, MD)

8. Zach is going to Iraq and the everyone goes their separate ways. Move back in with parents. (Parkville, MD)

9. House in Hampden with Mike and Jesse, who is later replaced by Kelly. Car gets stolen from the driveway. It was the best thing that could have happened to that car. Great neighbors, even better times. (Hampden, Baltimore, MD)

10. Landlord sells the house in Hampden and gives us 30 days to move out. After weeks of researching and looking at overpriced houses, we finally find the one. I don’t really know what to call the neighborhood. Mt. Washington? North Roland Park? There are crazy Civil War-looking houses across the street. They may be haunted. (Mt. Washington?
